Our Team

Hamish Kerr in

Managing Director

As managing director, Hamish still undertakes and manages large scale operations for SCOPE. In this role he has planned and executed numerous major investigations within the corporate and commercial sector, including projects relating to insurance fraud, loss prevention, security risk analysis and the Employment Relations Act. During his tenure as a Police Detective, Hamish held a number of key relationship roles that included holding liaison positions with the serious fraud office, immigration department, the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Corrections. Hamish is currently working with a number of Insurance companies providing counter-fraud strategy advice and long term future-proofing for insurance claims teams. He also continues to provide security consultancy and CPTED audits, working with some of New Zealand’s largest (NZX) companies advising on security and risk.

Kieran Milne in

Advisory Board

Kieran is the Managing Director of MJM Corporate Risk Services in Australia. As a recognised leader in the Australian investigation industry, Kieran is dedicated to the long-term future of its operations in Australia, New Zealand and abroad. Kieran holds an Associate Diploma in Policing, a Graduate Diploma in Fraud Investigation (Charles Stuart University), a Certificate III in Investigative Services, a Certificate IV Government Fraud Control, a Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management, and various business management qualifications from the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, the Risk Management Institute of Australasia, and the Australian Life and Underwriting Association.

Richard Kerr in

Advisory Board

Richard obtained a BCom in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Auckland in 1988. After gaining experience as an auditor for KMPG where he qualified as a CA in 1992 he has since held senior commercial and finance positions in a number of organisations, including roles as Finance and Operations Controller at Hagemeyer NZ, Finance Director at Oracle New Zealand and Commercial Projects Manager for a US software firm Epiphany in the UK and Europe. Throughout his career, Richard has also provided consulting services focused on IT implementation and process improvement to organisations such as Foodstuffs NZ. Richard's role at SCOPE is focused on commercial management and strategy.
